If you were following along on Instagram stories last weekend you know we became “members” of our local zoo. We had done some research earlier that day and realized that for only 40.00 more our entire family could visit the zoo anytime we want for a year. I didn’t think much else of it until I did a little bit more research on the perks of an “AZA Reciprocal Membership” — that’s the kind our zoo offers.

Beyond a discount on food and merchandise I was shocked to find out that the membership gets you free admission or half off admission at all zoos that participate in the reciprocal membership program! The list is fairly extensive and it would be a fun way to base your travel this summer and get the most out of your membership! The Siron fam will be hitting up tons of zoos in 2021. We’re most excited about heading to the Omaha Zoo in a month or so!
