Adventures With Diventures

With Spring just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start focusing on water safety! While Beau loves the water, we wanted to focus on getting him familiar with the basics of being a safe swimmer. Diventures has swimming programs for every level and we’ve had a great experience so far.

Here are a few of my favorite features of Diventures swim programs:

Learning the basics at Diventures in Springfield, MO

  1. You start by getting a trial lesson. The trial lesson gives your child a one on one session and assessment to see what class your child needs to be enrolled in. For us, it also allowed the instructor to understand our speech delay and see if we needed one on one instruction or if we could be in a class setting. We ended up in a class and our first session went well!

  2. Class sizes are small. We ended up having one other child in Beau’s class, but they limit class sizes to 4. Classes are formed by age and ability.

  3. You meet weekly on the same day for monthly sessions. I love that they have a huge variety of swim times from morning to evening classes.

  4. Family swim is another favorite feature! Family swim allows families to get in the pool at designated times for swimming! If you’re signed up for classes with auto pay, family swim is completely free!

  5. The 88 degree pool water and 90 degree deck air makes every swimming experience perfection!

  6. You get a “passport” when you start swim lessons. Your instructor will mark off milestones as your child achieves them. It’s a fun keepsake

I will continue to keep you updated as we progress over the next two months at Diventures!
