Could Sensory Tables Be the Hot Christmas Toy This Year?

With Covid continuing to consume our lives, I’ve been trying to come up with fun and interesting ways to play at home. My kids are pretty much over everything. They don’t even want to use electronics. They’re much more into things like kenetic sand and slime— So, with my youngest recently turning four I thought it might be fun to put together a sensory table! So far it’s been a huge hit. My favorite part is that I can switch them up depending on the season. Even older kiddos can get in on the action by using shaving cream, slimes, sands, you name it.

With cold weather approaching as quickly as flu season and COVID still keeping us inside— the real question is could something as simple as a sensory table be the hot new toy this season? For us, it’s certainly holding it’s own among a sea of other toy options! Enjoy our first themed sensory bins (fall/Halloween).
