Fireplace Makeover For Renters or Homeowners

We all love a good before and after, right? I’m always on the hunt for fun ways to do DIY projects cost effectively. This project happens to work well for renters or homeowners. I’m going to make it short and sweet- This fireplace is my arch nemesis. I hate it. it’s old. It’s outdated. It’s ugly. I didn’t want to put a ton of resources in it because I know we’re on the brink of moving to a bigger space after the holidays (shhhhhh. top secret stuff). But, I also knew I wanted to give it a facelift before the holidays.

Here’s What you’ll need:

Immediately after we finished… still needed a few places trimmed up but overall we were happy with this fast, easy, and inexpensive fix!

CLICK HERE for wood trim (ours is similar to this, but choose any style you like.. make sure you measure before going to the store so they can cut it down to size for you)

Once you’ve got the goods- just go for it! I love the addition of wood trim. It really pulls things together. For us, this project brightened up the room big time! I’m excited to see my Christmas decor pop off of all of the white!
